Beta USA Revamps eCommerce with Mementia’s Expertise
Beta USA is a distributor for the Beta motorcycles in the United States. Using BigCommerce and Magento technology for their multiple online stores, including B2C and B2B, Beta needed a partner skilled in both Magento and BigCommerce, as well as data migration and ETL.
What started as a small project bug fixing their older Magento site and helping them with migration ended up being a multiple-month endeavor to streamline their multiple BigCommerce stores and their Acctivate inventory system.
Mementia was easy to talk to regarding the expectations, the schedule and pace. We had many zoom meetings, phone calls and Discord dialogs. They were always working on the project and asking pertinent questions regarding organization, categories and placement of products to their models. Always ahead of schedule.
Overcoming BigCommerce Challenges for Beta USA
The process was very challenging due to the closed nature of the BigCommerce platform, but thanks to the persistence of Mementia, a dramatic reduction in manual work for synchronization between the B2C and B2B site was achieved by a migration / synchronization app.
In addition to this, a large amount of historical customer data was moved from the older Magento website into the BigCommerce B2B site, enabling dealers to easily access their orders using the new interface.
